Week Nine (Zanzibar)

Our original plan was to visit Zanzibar for three days while we were in Dar es Salaam, while there we found it difficult to find save storage for the Land Rover. After investigating did we found that we can fly from JHB to Zanzibar for seven days for a little bit more money. We then decided to leave Zanzibar until the end of the trip.

After completing Kruger National Park did we leave the Land Rover with family in Sasolburg and flue to Zanzibar for a seven-day island holiday.

We stayed in Uroa Beach Resort, on the east coast, for seven nights and enjoyed the local food and scenery, with some swimming in the warm Indian Ocean. We also went on scenic trips visiting the spice route, Stone Town and Prison Island.
